Issue detected: The 2D view has a black patch on it.
Cause of the issue: It appears mostly for those having Nvidia graphic cards in their laptop computer. We suspect that graphic card drivers conflict with Artlantis and cause the black patch on the 2D window.
How to solve it :
Quit Artlantis.
Open the Display settings of your computer by clicking on the Windows menu at the lower-left-hand-side of your screen.
Open the Graphics settings of your computer by clicking on this link. Scroll down the page if this link does not appear right away.
Browse to select Artlantis.exe on your hard drive. This is the location of the installed folder: C:∖Program Files∖Artlantis 2021∖
When done, click on Options and open the Graphics Specifications dialog for Artlantis..
Choose Power saving mode. Validate and close.
Restart Artlantis and your 2D window will be normal again.
